About introduction of amendments to the Disciplinary charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Disciplinary charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine approved by the Law of Ukraine "About the Disciplinary charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, No. 22-23, of Art. 197 with subsequent changes), the following changes:

Article 15 to add 1) with the Item "-1" of the following content:

"-1) early withdrawal of earlier imposed authority punishment";

And figures "provided by the Items "and" and "b" of article 15 of this Charter" shall be replaced with words 2) in Article 16 of the word also in figures "provided by the Items "and" - "-1" article 15 of this Charter";

And figures "provided by the Items "and", "b" and "v" of article 15 of this Charter" shall be replaced with words 3) in Article 18 of the word also in figures "provided by the Items "and" - "in" article 15 of this Charter";

To add 4) with Article 26-1 of the following content:

"26-1. The serviceman having authority punishment is encouraged by early withdrawal of earlier imposed authority punishment according to the procedure of its priority. The right to remit authority punishments belongs to that commander who imposed them, and to his direct chiefs. At the same time to the serviceman only one authority punishment can be remitted.

The serviceman is considered not having authority punishment if he is awarded by the state award, was encouraged by early withdrawal of earlier imposed authority punishment or effective period of authority punishment expired.

During effective period of authority punishments encouragement, except early withdrawal of earlier imposed authority punishment cannot be applied to the serviceman.

Effective period of authority punishments from the date of their announcement to the serviceman constitutes:

notes - one month;

reprimand - two months;

serious reprimand - three months;
