About cooperation in the field of the organization of the integrated foreign exchange market of state members of Eurasian economic community

The state members of Eurasian economic community which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

for the purpose of expansion of the sphere and increase in scales of use of national currencies of state members of Eurasian economic community (further - EurAsEC) for servicing of mutual foreign economic relations as bases of further development of regional currency integration,

being guided by the Constitutive treaty of Eurasian economic community of October 10, 2000,

recognizing importance of collateral actions in the direction of creation of the currency union of state members of EurAsEC as most perfect form of currency integration, for increase in share of use of national currencies when implementing payments in the field of foreign trade and provision of financial services, creation of the effective mechanism of mutual currency conversion of state members of EurAsEC,

expressing interest in strengthening of mutual trade and investment cooperation of state members of EurAsEC, stimulation of development of trade and economic relations between their business entities, relying on the principles of equality and mutual advantage taking into account economic features of each of state members of EurAsEC,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The concepts used for the purpose of this agreement:

<bank> - the legal entity who based on special permission (the license or other basis) competent authority of the Party of this agreement has the right to perform the banking activities provided by its national legal system;

<the integrated foreign exchange market> - set of the domestic foreign exchange markets of the Parties combined by the general principles of functioning and state regulation;

<competent authorities> - the Central (national) Banks and other state bodies of the Parties which according to the national legal system perform currency control and banking supervision;
