About further enhancement of system of support of cultural development and art

For the purpose of further enhancement of activities of Fund of cultural development and art, strengthening of ties with the foreign states and the organizations in the field of culture and art, and also ensuring rational and effective use of the funds allocated to fund:

1. Transform Fund of cultural development and art under the Ministry of Culture to Fund of cultural development and art under the Cabinet of Ministers (further - Fund) with preserving the operating procedure for financing and the number of staff.

Include Fund in structure of the Secretariat concerning tourism, sport, culture and mass communications of the Cabinet of Ministers.

2. Determine the main objectives of Fund:

assistance to further development of the sphere of culture and art on the basis of realization of complex of financial, organizational and creative actions, and also implementation of full support of cultural figures and the actions initiated by them in the field of the fine arts, literature, theater, music and choreography;

expansion of the international and interstate cultural ties, development of cooperation with the international cultural organizations and charity foundations in the field of culture and art, attraction of foreign investments and grants, assistance to development of charity in the field of culture and art in the country;

assistance in establishing creative cross-cultural dialogue and integration of art of Uzbekistan into world art and cultural space, and also demonstrations of aspects of cultural and scientific and technical potential and competitiveness of the country;

enhancement of system of preparation, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of culture and art, and also providing along with it necessary literature and periodicals of cultural institutions and arts;

assistance to enhancement of system of increase in efficiency of activities of the museums and other cultural organizations of the country taking into account foreign experience;

financing and assistance to construction according to international standards of new establishments of culture;
