About interaction of power systems between the State Parties of the Agreement on deepening of integration in economic and humanitarian areas of March 29, 1996

The government of the Republic of Belarus, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties

for the purpose of implementation of the Contract between the Russian Federation, the Republic of Byelorussia, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic about deepening of integration in economic and humanitarian areas of March 29, 1996,

attaching importance to deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation,

wishing to keep and develop traditional economic ties, promoting forming of common economic space,

recognizing joint interest of the Parties in use of benefits of interaction of power systems,

recognizing that realization of the specified opportunities assumes mutual recognition and equivalence of education documents,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform mutually beneficial long-term cooperation in questions:

productions, transfers, distribution and transit of electrical energy;

developments of single scientific and technical, technological and information space;

accomplishment of scientific research, designing and construction of facilities of power industry;

productions of the energy, electrotechnical equipment, materials, remedies and management.

Article 2

The parties will take the measures directed on:

rapprochement and harmonization of the national legal systems in the field of power providing the single principles of forming, development and functioning of energy market;

creation of general system of information support and statistical reporting;

providing opportunities of interstate overflows of the electric power in operating conditions of energy market;
