About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About education" concerning enhancement of scientific and methodical ensuring education and quality of educational literature

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About education" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2017, No. 38-39, of Art. 380 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. To add part one of Article 1 with Items 5-1 and 15-2 of the following content:

"5-1) textbook - type of educational literature which contains the systematized statement of training material and task for achievement of certain results of training according to the model and/or training program (for complete general secondary education) which component is the interactive digital application, requirements to which are established by the central executive body in the field of science and education";

"15-2) educational literature - electronic and paper editions which are created for ensuring educational process and contain the scientific, educational, methodical and/or practical information directed to achievement of certain results of training by job seekers of education".

2. In Article 64 part one:

to state the paragraph of the eighth in the following edition:

"will organize development and approves standards of education in the cases determined by this Law and special laws will promulgate them on the official website";

after the paragraph of the eighth to add with three new paragraphs of the following content:

"will organize and performs scientific and methodical ensuring education in the limits determined by special laws;

will organize carrying out scientific research in the field of education, necessary for forming and realization of state policy in the field of education;
