About introduction of amendments to the Law on the principles of subsidizing of development of agricultural industry and the rural zone No. 276/2016

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on the principles of subsidizing of development of agricultural industry and the rural zone No. 276/2016 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 67-71, 93), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In part (1) Article 1 of the word of "the direction of use" shall be replaced with words "use priorities".

2. In Article 3:

state the concept "support measure" of the following edition:

"support measure/submeasure - the main direction which is financially supported by the state in agricultural industry and the rural zone promoting realization of one or several priorities of policy of development of agricultural industry and the rural zone established in the National strategy of development of agricultural industry and the rural zone;";

state the concept "direct payment" of the following edition:

"direct payment - the non-paid financial support expressed in fixed amount counting on the head of animal depending on types and quantity of animals provided from National fund of development of agricultural industry and the rural zone;";

after the concept "agricultural producer" to add Article with concept of the following content:

"the agricultural microproducer - agricultural producer which has on the property right or ownerships and uses up to 2 hectares of the arable land, and/or to 1 hectare of the earth occupied with long-term cultures or 1 hectares of the earth under vegetables in the open ground, or earth hectare 0,1 under vegetables in the closed soil or to 40 heads of cattle, or to 50 heads of pigs of sheep/goats and anyway does not exceed the criteria established by the Law on the small and medium companies No. 179/2016 for the microcompany;";

state the concepts "small agricultural producer", "average agricultural producer" and "large agricultural producer" of the following edition:
