About introduction of amendments to the Law on the state system of social insurance No. 489/1999

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on the state system of social insurance No. 489/1999 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, Art. No. 1-4, 2), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. Item е) parts (1) articles 5 after word "employers", to add with the words "the free professionals performing activities in the field of justice".

2. State Article 6 in the following edition:

"Article 6. Social insurance based on the individual agreement

(1) In the state system of insurance can be insured based on the individual agreement on the conditions provided by this law, the persons which are not listed in Article 4 and/or not specified in appendix 1.

(2) Specified in part (1) persons can be insured based on the individual agreement signed annually with National cash desk, as follows:

a) physical persons - since 1999;

b) physical persons - the owners or lessees of farmlands processing the earth individually - since 2009.

(3) Payment of fee of social insurance for specified in part (2) persons for every year it is made in annual fixed amount (the annual fixed collection) in the amount of, provided in the law on the budget of the national social insurance in year in which the agreement is signed.

(4) the Period for which fees of social insurance based on the individual agreement signed with National cash desk were paid is equal to insurance period which joins in insurance years of service for award of pension on age and benefits for burial.".

3. In part (Article 10-1 of the word "in Article 12" shall be replaced with words 2) "in Article 11".
