About modification of some regulations

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on green plantings of city and rural settlements No. 591/1999 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1999, Art. No. 133-134, 649), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 9:

Item c) to state in the following edition:

"c) by means of the Agency of the environment carries out, if necessary, the procedure of strategic ecological assessment, environmental impact assessment or environmental assessment of drafts of plans of arrangement of the territories, projects of ecological reconstruction of landscapes in the landscape plan, strongly injured and degraded lands, projects of placement in green plantings of green plantings of objects, compatible to appointment, for social and economic activities (sports installations, installations for games and rest, subjects to welfare appointment, portable trade items) and issues the corresponding conclusions and allowing documents;";

in Item d) words of "the territorial authorities" shall be replaced with words "Inspectorates for environmental protection";

Item e) to state in the following edition:

"e) participates by means of the Agency of the environment in activities of the commissions on placement in the green plantings which are in public property, green plantings of objects, compatible to appointment, for social and economic activities (sports installations, installations for games and rest, subjects to welfare appointment, portable trade items);".

2. In Article 20:

parts (1) and (to state 2) in the following edition:

"(1) the Business entities wishing to place in the green plantings which are in public property, objects, compatible to purpose of green plantings, for social and economic activities (sports installations, installations for games and rest, subjects to welfare appointment, portable trade items), ask for this permission of body of local public authority which determines location and the area of objects, and also activities implementation conditions, in coordination with the Agency of the environment.
