Some questions of ensuring functioning of information and communication systems, electronic communication systems, public electronic registers in the conditions of warlike situation

According to the Presidential decree of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 "About introduction of warlike situation in Ukraine" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides No. 64:

1. Determine that for action of warlike situation of the ministry, others central and the local executive bodies, the state and utility companies, organizations, the organizations relating to the sphere of their management for ensuring proper functioning of information, information and communication and electronic communication systems, public electronic registers, owners (holders) and/or administrators of which they are, and the information security processed in them, and also protection of the state information resources, can apply such additional measures:

1) to place the state information resources and public electronic registers on cloudy resources and/or in data-processing centers which are located outside Ukraine and to register domain names in the gov.ua domain for such placement;

2) to create additional backup copies of the state information resources and public electronic registers with observance of the requirements established for such resources concerning integrity, confidentiality and availability;

3) to keep backup copies of the state information resources and public electronic registers in encrypted form, including outside Ukraine, on cloudy resources and/or separate physical carriers, and/or in the isolated segment of data-processing centers with observance of the requirements established for such resources concerning integrity, confidentiality and availability;

4) to stop, limit work of information, information and communication and electronic communication systems, and also public electronic registers.
