About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About providing the rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime in temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" in connection with military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About providing the rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime in temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2014, No. 26, Art. 892 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. Add Article 1 with part three of the following content:

"3. Start date of temporary occupation of the territories, stipulated in Item 3 parts one of article 3 of this Law, is determined by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine enacted by the presidential decree of Ukraine".

2. In Article 3:

in part one:

state Item 3 in the following edition:

"3) other overland territory of Ukraine, internal sea waters and the territorial sea of Ukraine recognized in the conditions of warlike situation temporarily occupied by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine enacted by the presidential decree of Ukraine";

add with item 4 of the following content:

"4) subsoil under the territories specified in Items 1, to 2 and 3 this part and airspace over these territories";

the second to state part in the following edition:

"2. The administrative border between temporarily occupied territory provided by Items 1 and 2 of part one of this Article, and other territory of Ukraine matches with overland administrative border between the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Kherson region.

The administrative border between temporarily occupied territory, stipulated in Item 3 parts one of this Article, and other territory of Ukraine is determined by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine enacted by the presidential decree of Ukraine".
