About modification of some regulations
Art. I. - In the Law on the public pension system No. 156/1998 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. Part (Article 13 to state 2) in the following edition:
"(2) the Coefficient of indexation is equal to the rate of inflation as of the end of previous year expressed by growth of consumer prices in December of the corresponding year in comparison with the same month of prior year. The coefficient of indexation is established by the Government.".
2. Part (Article 13-1 to state 2) in the following edition:
"(2) the Fixed amount provided in part (1), it is determined by multiplication of the size of average pension by 50 percent of the gross domestic product growth in previous year expressed in the comparable prices. The fixed amount is determined by the Government.".
Art. II. - Part (3) article 7 of the Law on social benefit No. 133/2008 (2008, 179, Art. 625), with subsequent changes, to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to No. in the following edition:
"(3) the Minimum guaranteed monthly income is indexed annually on April 1. The coefficient of indexation is equal to the rate of inflation as of the end of previous year expressed by growth of consumer prices in December of the corresponding year in comparison with the same month of prior year. The coefficient of indexation is established by the Government.".
Art. III. - (1) This law becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
(2) to the Government in a month from the date of publication of this law to bring the regulations into accord with it.
(3) In departure from article 13 of the Law on the public pension system No. 156/1998 in case of indexation in April, 2022 the coefficient of indexation will be applied only to that part of pension which does not exceed the average monthly salary on economy predicted for 2022.
