About modification of the Regulations of Parliament accepted by the Law No. 797/1996

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Regulations of Parliament accepted by the Law No. 797/1996 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, No. 50, of the Art. 237), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. In part (1) Article 14:

Item j) to declare invalid;

in Item k) "government employees of the Secretariat of Parliament and" to exclude words.

2. Part (Article 141 to state 4) in the following edition:

"(4) When implementing the powers the secretary general bears responsibility for ensuring normal functioning of working bodies of Parliament. According to the law it appoints to position, changes, stops and stops the office relations of government employees, employs and dismisses other personnel of the Secretariat of Parliament, except for personnel, stipulated in Item k) parts (1) Article 14. Position assignment of government employees from the secretariats of the permanent commissions, change, suspension and the termination of their office relations is performed with the consent of the commission chairman.".

3. Part (Article 150 to state 5) in the following edition:

"(5) Secretary general of Parliament:

a) bears responsibility for the organization of budget process in Parliament;

b) provides management of public finances and administration of public property according to the principles of proper management with informing times a half-year and in need of Permanent bureau;

c) provides publication of the budget and reports on its execution.".

Art. II. - This law becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
