The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan which further are referred to as with the Parties

based on the international standards, in view of national legal systems of two countries,

proceeding from aspiration to deepening of cooperation in the field of education,

considering the positive educational links which developed between the Parties and mutual interest in parity cooperation in the field of education,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform cooperation in the following areas:

- exchange of information about education system and the reforms undertaken in the educational sphere;

- exchange of training and educational and methodical, audio-and video records;

- exchange of students, pedagogical and scientific and pedagogical workers;

- exchange of regulatory legal acts concerning education;

- assistance in development of regulatory legal acts concerning carrying out certification and accreditation of the organizations of education;

- assistance to expansion and deepening of cooperation between the educational organizations of the states of the Parties at all levels.

Article 2

The parties develop cooperation in the field of exchange, preparation, retraining and advanced training of specialists, research and educational personnel, carrying out joint scientific research and actions which realization will be enabled on the basis of the conclusion of direct contracts between the interested organizations of the states of the Parties in which their rights, obligations and responsibility shall be determined.

Article 3

The parties annually on equivalent basis perform exchange of students according to programs of bachelor degree and magistracy.

The total annual quantity of students in each of the states of the Parties on equivalent basis does not exceed 5 people.

The term of training of this category of students is determined by the host party according to the national legal system of its state.
