I. In the Criminal code of Ukraine (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, Art. No. 25-26, 131):

1. State Article 361 in the following edition:

"Article 361. Unauthorized intervention in work of the information (automated), electronic communication, information and communication systems, electronic communication networks

3. The actions provided by part one or the second this Article if they led to leakage, loss, counterfeit, blocking of information, misstatement of processing of information or to violation of established procedure of its routing, -

are punished by penalty from seven thousand to ten thousand free minima of the income of citizens or imprisonment for a period of three up to eight years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities for a period of up to three years or without that.

4. The actions provided by part one or the second this Article if they did essential harm or created danger of severe technological accidents or environmental disasters, death or mass disease of the population or other heavy effects, -

are punished by imprisonment for a period of eight up to twelve years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities for a period of up to three years or without that.
