About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning assignment of special ranks of police during action of warlike situation

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

Article 84 of the Law of Ukraine "About National police" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2015, No. 40-41, of Art. 379 with subsequent changes) to add 1) with part five of the following content:

"5. During action of warlike situation the next special rank can be given without establishment of the terms provided by this Article, ahead of schedule and special rank the police colonel - the head of National police of Ukraine in coordination with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is one step above the rank provided by the held established post to the police lieutenant colonel inclusive the head of National police of Ukraine, and";

2) part the sixth article 10 of the Disciplinary charter of National police of Ukraine approved by the Law of Ukraine "About the Disciplinary charter of National police of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2018, No. 29, of Art. 233 with subsequent changes) to add with the paragraph the second the following content:

"During action of warlike situation encouragement in the form of early assignment of the next special rank can be applied to the police officer without adherence to deadlines, specified in part five of this Article and paragraph one of this part, to the police lieutenant colonel inclusive the head of National police of Ukraine, and special rank the police colonel - the head of National police of Ukraine in coordination with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine".
