About introduction of amendments to article 114-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine concerning enhancement of responsibility for unauthorized distribution of information on means of counteraction to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation

1. Bring in article 114-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, Art. No. 25-26, 131) the following changes:

In paragraph one of part one of the word "did not take place" shall be replaced with words 1) "did not take place (did not extend)", the words "or Ministry of Defence of Ukraine" - words "The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Head department of investigation of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine or the Security Service of Ukraine", and to exclude words of "the relevant departments";

Paragraph one of part two after words "The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" to add 2) with words "The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine or other authorized state bodies";

Paragraph one of part three to state 3) in the following edition:

"3. The actions provided by part one or the second this Article, made by previous concert by group of persons or from mercenary motives, or for the purpose of provision of such information to the state which performs the armed aggression against Ukraine, either his representatives or other illegal armed groups or if they entailed heavy effects, in the absence of signs of high treason or espionage".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
