About modification of some regulations
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Law on production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic products No. 1100/2000 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2010, Art. No. 98-99, 293), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. In Article 1:
state the concept "ethyl alcohol" of the following edition:
"ethyl alcohol - the alcohol received by spirit fermentation of agricultural raw materials of plant origin with distillation and the subsequent rectification and the synthetic alcohol received by catalytic hydration of ethylene.
Ethyl alcohol are ethyl alcohol the rectified agricultural origin, ethyl technical alcohol and ethyl alcohol denatured;";
after the concept "ethyl alcohol" to add Article with concept of the following content:
"the ethyl alcohol rectified agricultural origin - the ethyl alcohol received by rectification of alcohol raw and/or ferment after spirit fermentation, from agricultural raw materials of plant origin, with volume fraction of alcohol at least 96%;";
exclude the concepts "ethyl drinking alcohol" and "packaging from nonconventional materials";
in the concept "alcoholic products" of the word "with content of ethyl alcohol of more 1,5 of %" shall be replaced with words "with volume fraction of alcohol of more 1,2 of %";
after the concept "hard alcoholic drinks" to add Article with concepts of the following content:
"low alcohol drink - alcoholic products with volume fraction of alcohol from 1,2 to 7%;
alcoholic drink with low content of alcohol - alcoholic products with volume fraction of alcohol from 7 to 15%;";
state the concept "producers of alcoholic products" of the following edition:
"producers are the business entities having the necessary equipment, having the corresponding license and meeting the requirements provided by this law for production of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic products;";
