"Article 7.1. Water management actions

1. Actions for studying, use, protection of the water objects which are in the state-owned or municipal property and also for prevention of negative impact of waters and liquidation of its effects (further - water management actions) are performed by public authorities, local government bodies within the powers according to Articles 24 - the 27th of this Code or persons who according to this Code use water objects and (or) to whom this Code assigns obligation on implementation of such actions.

2. Water management actions can be performed by the public (municipal) institutions subordinated to public authorities, local government bodies, within powers of the specified bodies determined by Articles 24 - the 27th of this Code.
