Bring in the Federal Law of June 4, 2018 No. 127-FZ "About corrective actions (counteraction) on unfriendly actions of the United States of America and other foreign states" (The Russian Federation Code, 2018, No. 24, of the Art. 3394) change, having added with its Article 4.1 of the following content:
"Article 4.1. Features of execution by credit institutions of requests of competent authorities of foreign states
1. The credit institution is forbidden to provide to competent authorities of foreign states (including judicial authorities) the information about clients and the transactions made by them, representatives of the clients, beneficiaries and beneficial owners, except as specified, provided by this Federal Law and the Federal Law of June 28, 2014 No. 173-FZ "About features of implementation of financial transactions with the foreign citizens and legal entities, about introduction of amendments to the Russian Federation Code of Administrative Offences and recognition who voided separate provisions of legal acts of the Russian Federation" requested by such bodies.
2. The credit institution has the right to inform competent authority of foreign state (including judicial authorities) on availability of stipulated by the legislation prohibition of the Russian Federation on provision of the data specified regarding 1 this Article.
