About change of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "About bases of system of prevention of neglect and offenses of minors"

Accepted by the House of Representatives on April 27, 2022

Approved by Council of the Republic on May 4, 2022

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of May 31, 2003 No. 200-Z "About bases of system of prevention of neglect and offenses of minors" the following changes:

1. 1, paragraphs of the first and second Article 6, Article part one paragraph two 8, paragraphs two and the fourth Article parts one 10, the paragraph the fourth article 18 parts two after the word "parents" to add paragraphs of the third and sixth Article with words "(adoptive parents, adopters)" in the corresponding case.

2. The second Article 2 to add part with words ", accounting of the best interests of the child in case of acceptance by state bodies and other organizations of decisions concerning minors".

3. State Article 3 in the following edition:

"Article 3. Legal regulation of the relations on prevention of neglect and offenses of minors

The relations on prevention of neglect and offenses of minors are regulated by the legislation on prevention of neglect and offenses of minors, and also international treaties of the Republic of Belarus.

The legislation on prevention of neglect and offenses of minors is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and No. 2570-XII "About the child's rights" and other acts of the legislation consists of this Law, the Code of the Republic of Belarus on education, the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 19, 1993.

If the international treaty of the Republic of Belarus establishes other rules, than those which contain in this Law then are applied rules of the international treaty.".

4. 4, Article parts two 11, of paragraphs of the first and fifth parts one of Article 30 of the word "Republic of Belarus" to exclude Article parts one from paragraphs of the fourth or seventh.

5. In Article 5:
