About introduction of amendments to the Law on social benefit No. 133/2008

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on social benefit No. 133/2008 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, No. 179, of the Art. 625), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 5:

in part (1):

Item a) after the word "pensions" to add with the words "on age";

in Item b) shall be replaced with words the words "with the established extent of restriction of opportunities;" "with established by the heavy extent of restriction of opportunities or other degrees and types of restriction of opportunities established by the Government;";

Item e) to state in the following edition:

"e) look after the members/family members needing for health reasons leaving from the party of the third party, in accordance with the terms, established by the Government;";

2. Add Article 6 with parts (3) - (5) the following content:

"(3) the Monthly size of social benefit can be reduced for families with the unemployed and/or time-workers if those do not observe the regulations on participation in the labor market approved by the Government.

(4) If members/adults the family members receiving social benefit are employed, the right to social benefit can be established further for certain period, at the same time the size, conditions and procedure for its provision are established by the Government.

(5) the Part of the size of social benefit in connection with availability in family of children can be calculated and paid separately, at the same time conditions, procedure for provision and use of this part of social benefit are established by the Government.".
