About modification of the Executive code of the Republic of Moldova No. 443/2004

Art. I. - Executive code of the Republic of Moldova No. 443/2004 (repeated publication: 2010, Art. No. 214-220, 704), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with Article 219-1 of the following content:

"Article 219-1. Therapeutic community

(1) In penal institutions therapeutic communities for the convicts who were earlier using drugs and other psychotropic substances, except for those who are in closed penal institution on initial detention regime can be organized.

(2) Therapeutic community is the physically limited space which is in premises of penal institution where the complex of the methods of treatment relating to actions, strategy, technicians, the interpersonal and social interactions used for stimulation of participation of the convict in the course of the recovery and acceptance of the correct conduct of life, change of behavior, training in new social obligations and their practical fixing is applied.

(3) Within therapeutic community convicts of penal institutions of different types can hold joint therapeutic events and be located in one zone of content on condition of observance in cameras of requirements for penal institutions of the established type.

(4) the Procedure for the organization and functioning of therapeutic communities affirms as penal institutions the order of the director of National penitentiary administration.".

Art. II. - This law becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
