About introduction of amendments to the Law on the prevention and fight against terrorism No. 120/2017
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Single Article. - In the Law on the prevention and fight against terrorism No. 120/2017 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 364-370, 614), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:
1. In part (4) Article 6:
Item d) to state in the following edition:
"d) Ministry of infrastructure and regional development;";
Item f) to state in the following edition:
"f) Ministry of Health;".
2. In Article 7:
in Item f) parts (3) words "Department of troops of carabineers;" shall be replaced with words "General inspectorate of carabineers;";
part (to add 4) with Item е) the following content:
"e) participations of the division of special purpose in carrying out counter-terrorist operation upon the demand of Anti-terrorist operational command.";
in part (6) words "Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure" shall be replaced with words "The ministry of infrastructure and regional development";
in part (8) the words "Ministry of Health, Work and Social Protection" shall be replaced with words "Ministry of Health";
part (to state 12) in the following edition:
"(12) the System of penitentiary administration by forces of division of special purpose performs activities for the prevention and fight against terrorism by means of:
a) providing according to the legislation of safety of staff and protection of arms, ammunition, explosives and objects which can be used within counter-terrorist operation;
b) protection, supervision and/or convoy of the prisoners constituting special peril for safety of the state;
c) participations in carrying out counter-terrorist operation upon the demand of Anti-terrorist operational command;
d) ensuring necessary material and operational support and provision in the order of special means and the equipment upon the demand of Anti-terrorist operational command.".
