About training of drivers and state registration of vehicles in the period of warlike situation in Ukraine

According to the Laws of Ukraine "About traffic", "About legal regime of warlike situation" and to the Presidential decree of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 "About introduction of warlike situation in Ukraine" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides No. 64:

1. Determine that in the period of warlike situation and within three months from the date of its termination or cancellation:

1) practice examination for receipt of the certificate of the driver is taken by person in any territorial authority on provision of services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the right of control of vehicles of the corresponding category (further - the service center) irrespective of the place of passing theoretical examination on condition of availability in the Unified state register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of data on successful passing of theoretical examination by such person;

2) training with theoretical training of persons having training, retraining and advanced training of transport drivers can remotely be performed by means of technical means of electronic communication, including the Internet;

3) issue of the car driver license is performed by the authorized worker in any service center, irrespective of the place of passing theoretical and/or practical examinations, on condition of availability in the Unified state register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of data on successful passing of theoretical and/or practical examinations by person;

4) in case of need accredited institutions and their branches (other separate divisions) which carry out preparation, retraining and advanced training of transport drivers can reduce to 20 percent content of subjects of the appropriate educational sections of the theoretical module for preparation or retraining of transport drivers of categories B, C 1, C, C1E, CE;
