About measures for widespread introduction of modern information and communication technologies in activities of legal profession

In recent years in the country large-scale reforms on digitalization of all spheres by implementation of the modern information technologies, further improvement in result of service quality rendered to the population, and also increase in efficiency of activities of representatives of number of spheres are undertaken.

Now there is need of ensuring systemacity and the sequence for realization of the tasks established in this direction within which the raising of rendering legal aid to physical persons and legal entities on new level by means of implementation of information and communication technologies in activities of legal profession is required.

For the purpose of elimination of bureaucracy and excessive paperwork, implementation of electronic document management with courts, law enforcement agencies and other state bodies in activities of legal profession, and also according to the State program on strategy implementation of development of New Uzbekistan for 2022 - 2026 in "Year of ensuring interests of the person and development waved":

1. Determine priority tasks of implementation of modern information and communication technologies in activities of legal profession:

increase in independence of institute of legal profession of state bodies and other structures by implementation of modern information and communication technologies and exception of human factor;

the effective organization of electronic data exchange between legal profession, court, law enforcement agencies and other state bodies for the purpose of ensuring operational receipt of information necessary for implementation of lawyer activities;

expansion of possibility of rendering legal aid by lawyers to physical persons and legal entities online by means of the special information program;

forming of the information systems, databases and other software products necessary for activities of legal profession, and also taking measures to ensuring complex protection and confidentiality of information which is stored in them.
