About measures for creation of effective system of fight against degradation of lands

For the purpose of fight against degradation of lands in the republic and mitigations of its negative effects, prevention of desertification and drought in regions, preserving biodiversity, preserving and increase in fertility of the soil, recovery of the degraded lands, achievements of sustainable development of regions on the basis of wide use of the advanced scientific developments and innovations in this area:

1. Assign to the Ministry of Agriculture the following additional tasks concerning fight against degradation of lands:

conducting single state policy in the field of fight against processes of degradation of lands;

development of state programs and perspective strategy for fight against processes of degradation of lands, and also coordination of activities of the ministries and departments participating in their realization;

collection, the analysis, processing and possibility of open information access of the ministries and departments about current status and the performed measures for fight against degradation of lands, desertification and drought within single electronic resource (database);

conducting monitoring of degradation of lands and desertification, including actions for recovery, recultivation and land reclamation, turnover of pastures, their protection and phytomelioration, processes of crop rotation of crops, creation of forest belts and protective forest plantings by use of modern technologies (laboratories, drones, remote sensing and others) according to single national and international indicators and criteria;

carrying out soil, agrochemical, geobotanical researches, inventory counts of lands, space shootings, land, cartographic works;

coordination of scientific and practical actions, adjustment of effective cooperation with the international and regional organizations;

organization and carrying out training courses (trainings) for prevention of processes of degradation of lands and fight against them;

development of evidence-based recommendations about prevention of processes of degradation of lands;
