About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About provision of pensions of persons discharged from military service and some other persons" concerning pension payment

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About provision of pensions of persons discharged from military service and some other persons" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 29, Art. 399 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. To state the text of Article 8 in the following edition:

"Pension payment, including additional pensions, surcharges, allowances and increases to them, the compensation payments established by the legislation, is provided to persons who have pension entitlement according to this Law at the expense of means of the government budget".

2. To state the text of Article 52 in the following edition:

"To persons having pension entitlement according to this Law, pension is paid by bodies of the Pension fund monthly, no later than the last date for which pension is paid, exclusively in cash in the place of the actual accommodation of the pensioner specified in the statement within Ukraine, irrespective of the declared or registered place of his residence, through the organizations performing payment and delivery of pensions, or through organizations of banks according to the procedure, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Expenses on delivery of pension are performed at the expense of means of the government budget".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To provide to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within three months from the date of entry into force of this law:

adoption of the regulatory legal acts necessary for implementation of this law;

review and reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
