About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning enhancement of delivery of health care
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to such legal acts of Ukraine:
1. Part third of Article 1206 of the Civil code of Ukraine (2003, 356) to state sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Art. No. No. 40-44, in the following edition:
"3. If treatment was carried out by healthcare institution which is in state-owned property, in property of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea or territorial community, joint property of territorial communities, funds for expense recovery for treatment are enlisted in the relevant budget by which such treatment was financed. If treatment was carried out by healthcare institution which receives money according to the agreement on medical attendance of the population according to the program of medical guarantees for the corresponding rendered medical services, such means are enlisted in the Government budget of Ukraine".
2. In Bases of the legislation of Ukraine on health care (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 4, Art. 19 with subsequent changes):
1) in Article 3 part one:
"healthcare institution" to state determination of the term in the following edition:
"healthcare institution - the legal entity of any pattern of ownership and form of business or its separate division which provides medical attendance of the population on the basis of the corresponding license and professional activity of health (pharmaceutical) workers and rehabilitation specialists";
add taking into account alphabetic procedure with terms of the following content:
"the hospital district - the territory within which provision of the high-quality, complex, continuous and oriented to patients medical and rehabilitation care by the organization of effective network of healthcare institutions is provided";
