1. Item 17 of the Regulations on issue of identity documents, and on accounting of citizens of the Republic of Moldova approved by the Order of the Government No. 125/2013 (2013, 171), with subsequent changes, to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 36-40, in the following edition:

"17. Identification documents are handed under the signature personally to the owner or his legal representative, or the representative, the representative by proxy assured by the notary or other persons, such authority given according to the law, or person acting in its interests within precepts of law. At the request of the applicant the identity document, is delivered at the place of residence or in the place of temporary stay, or in the location of the applicant by means of government service of delivery (MDelivery) on the conditions established by the Government. In case of delivery of the identification document to the legal representative or the representative, the representative by proxy, or to person which is acting for the benefit of the owner they are identified by the identification document, and in the absence of that - by means of information from the State register of the population and, if necessary, submit the documents confirming this right, provided for submission of the corresponding statement in Items 26, of 42, of the 63 and 65 this provision.

Delivery and delivery of identity documents is allowed, to the minors which reached fourteen-year age if there is written consent of their legal representative.
