About modification of some regulations

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on the status of the judge No. 544/1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 15-17, 63), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Part (Article 9 to state 7) in the following edition:

"(7) After entering into the Register the candidate for judgeship is exposed to obligatory testing on polygraph according to the Law on application of testing on the detector of simulation (polygraph) No. 269/2008.".

2. In Article 24-1:

add Article with part (2-1) following of content:

"(2-1) V departure from part (2) the judge elected to position of the director or deputy director of National institute of justice is recalled from position on completion date of powers.";

in part (5) word "in part (2)", shall be replaced with words "in parts (2) and (2-1),".

Art. II. - In the Law on National institute of justice No. 152/2006 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2016, No. 387, of the Art. 789), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. In Article 6:

part (to state 2) in the following edition:

"(2) Council consists of 9 members, of which:

1) three members are appointed by the Supreme council of magistracy from among judges as follows:

a) one judge from structure of the Highest trial chamber;

b) one judge from structure of appeal chambers;

c) one judge from structure of courts;

2) three members are appointed by the Supreme council of prosecutors from among prosecutors as follows:

a) one prosecutor from structure of the Prosecutor General's Office;

b) one prosecutor from structure of specialized prosecutor's offices;

c) one prosecutor from structure of territorial prosecutor's offices;

3) two members are appointed the Minister of Justice;

4) one member is appointed the President of the Republic of Moldova.";
