About modification of some regulations

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on the public pension system No. 156/1998 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Add Article 1 with part (3) the following content:

"(3) For the purpose of this law the following concepts are used:

the new circumstances relating to insurance years of service and to the insured income - the certificate supporting documents of availability of insurance years of service and the insured income for the period activities before realization of pension entitlement which was not considered in case of award of pension;

indexation of pension - periodically implementable measure for updating of the size of the estimated pension for the purpose of preserving purchasing power of pension;

paid pension - the pension which is monthly paid to the receiver by means of the payment service provider chosen as the receiver;

the estimated pension - the sum of money determined depending on the fees paid to the budget of the national social insurance and from the period of insurance years of service which is reviewed, increases and indexed;

the periods equated to insurance years of service - the periods for which fees of social insurance, but which according to this law join in general insurance years of service were not paid;

review of pension - recalculation of the size of pension according to provisions of this law existing for date of filing of application about review of pension according to Items and) and c) parts (1) and to parts (2), (4-1), (4-2) and (4-3) Articles 33;

the minimum insurance years of service - the minimum period of activities during which insured persons acquired the insurance years of service provided by part (1) article 15 of this law, for award of pension on reaching standard retirement age;

complete insurance years of service - the amount of the periods of activities during which fees of the national social insurance were paid to the budget of the national social insurance as it is provided by part (1) article 42 of this law;
