About modification of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine concerning election of measure of restraint to the military personnel who committed war crimes during action of warlike situation

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, Art. No. No. 9-13, 88) the following changes:

1) in Article 176:

the fifth to exclude part;

in part six of figure "114-1" to replace with figures "114-2-";

add with part seven of the following content:

"7. During action of warlike situation the measure of restraint determined by Item 5 parts one of this Article is applied to the military personnel who is suspected or accused of making of the crimes provided by Articles 402 - 405, 407, 408, 429 Criminal codes of Ukraine only";

2) in Article 183:

in word part one "part five" shall be replaced with words "parts six and the seventh";

in part four:

No. 2236-IX to consider the paragraph of the eighth in edition of the Law of Ukraine of May 3, 2022 the paragraph the ninth;

in paragraph eight of figure "114-1" to replace with figures "114-2", and after figures "261" to add with figures "402 - 405, 407, 408, 429".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
