About the entry of the Republic of Moldova into the World Trade Organization
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. 1. - Ratify the Protocol on accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Marrakesh agreement on organization of the World Trade Organization (WTO) signed in Geneva on May 8, 2001.
Art. 2. - The Republic of Moldova joins the Marrakesh agreement on WTO organization signed in Marrakech on April 15, 1994.
Art. 3. - Determine that the customs duties of the Republic of Moldova on import shall not exceed the level specified in the Clirespublika Moldova List attached to the Protocol on accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Marrakesh agreement on WTO organization.
Art. 4. - To the government of the Republic of Moldova to appoint governing body of the activities connected with accomplishment by the Republic of Moldova of obligations to the WTO and to provide protection and promotion of interests of the Republic of Moldova as a part of the WTO.
Art. 5. - To the government of the Republic of Moldova to publish periodically data on the changes in the export-import mode which resulted from accomplishment of the obligations undertaken by the Republic of Moldova based on the Marrakesh agreement on WTO organization.
Art. 6. - Provide to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs transfer of instruments of ratification to depositary.
