About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" concerning appointment and payment of the one-time monetary assistance

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 15, Art. 190 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. To state the text of Article 16 in the following edition:

"1. The one-time monetary assistance in case of death (death), disability or partial disability without establishment of disability of the military personnel, persons liable for call-up and reservists who are called on educational (or checking) and special charges or for service in war reserve (further - the one-time monetary assistance), - the payment guaranteed by the state performed to persons who according to this Law have the right to its obtaining.

2. The one-time monetary assistance is appointed and paid in case:

1) death (death) of the serviceman of obligations of military service during execution of him or owing to the disease connected with execution by it of obligations of military service, or the death of person discharged from military service within year after its dismissal from military service if death came owing to wound, contusions, mutilations, diseases connected with fulfillment of duties of military service;

2) the death of the serviceman which came during passing of military service by him or owing to the disease or accident taking place during passing by it of military service, or the death of person discharged from military service within year after dismissal from military service if death came owing to wound, contusion, mutilation, disease, the accident connected with passing of military service;

3) death (death) of the person liable for call-up or the reservist which are called on educational (or checking) and special charges or for service in war reserve, the military service which came in case of fulfillment of duties or service in war reserve;
