About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About physical culture and sport" concerning differentiation of sporting events and competitions
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About physical culture and sport" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2010, No. 7, Art. 50 with subsequent changes) the following changes:
1. In Article 1:
In paragraph four of the word "and sporting events" shall be replaced with words 1) "sporting events and sports competitions";
Determination of the term "organizer of sports and improving or sporting events" to state 2) in the following edition:
"the organizer of sports and improving or sporting events - legal entity or physical person which holds sports and improving or sporting event also performs organizational, financial and other support of preparation and holding this action";
Determination of the term "sporting events" to state 3) in the following edition:
"sporting events - educational training camps, and also action (actions) held by the organizer (organizers) of sporting events within the sports competitions or as independent action";
Determination of the term "sports competition" to state 4) in the following edition:
"sports competition - sporting event or complex of sporting events which are held by the organizer of sports competitions to the purpose of comparison of achievements of athletes and determination of winners according to rules of sports competitions in sports and the regulations (regulations) on these competitions approved by the organizer of sports competitions which answers with the certain central executive body providing forming of state policy in the field of physical culture and sport, to requirements and the Law";
