wishing to determine location of point of joint of frontiers of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Poland,
agreed as follows:
1. The point of joint of frontiers of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Poland which further is referred to as with point of joint of borders matches with the center of border marker No. 1987, defined by the Agreement between the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the Polish Republic on the Soviet-Polish frontier signed in Moscow on August 16, 1945 the documents of demarcation of the Soviet-Polish frontier accepted in subsequent period, the Contract between the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Poland on general frontier, the related legal relations, and also on cooperation and mutual aid in boundary cases signed in Vilnius on March 5, 1996 and the Contract between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Lithuania on the Russian-Lithuanian frontier signed in Moscow on October 24, 1997.
2. Each of the Parties shows location of point of joint of borders on the Map of the region of point of joint of frontiers of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Poland of scale 1:10 published by it 000, which is signed by the Parties and is integral part of this agreement.
3. The parties establish in point of joint of borders border marker with the name "Vishtynets" (Vishtitis, "Vishtinets") which further is referred to as with border marker.
