About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning enhancement of system of the emergency help to the population according to single telephone number 112

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. Part third of article 47 of the Law of Ukraine "About traffic" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 31, Art. 338; 2013, 30, 340) to state No. to the Art. in the following edition:

"On sections of roads, streets and railway crossings the corresponding route signs with information on the nearest healthcare institution which can provide provision of the emergency medical care or other medical care, the direction of movement and distance to it, and also telephone number for challenge of the emergency medical care 103 and the emergency communication according to single telephone number 112 are established".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About system of the emergency help to the population according to single telephone number 112" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2012, No. 49, Art. 560 with subsequent changes):

1) in Article 1:

in part one:

state Item 1 in the following edition:

"1) the emergency communication - communication with the help of services of interpersonal electronic communications between the end user, the communication center "Service 112" (further - Service 112) or operational and dispatching service for the purpose of request and receipt of the emergency help";

add with Item 3-1 of the following content:

"3-1) emergency service - the service providing the organization and rendering the emergency help to the population (operational rescue service of civil protection - 101, police - 102, the emergency medical care - 103, emergency service of gas - 104)";
