Article 1. Law purpose

The purpose of this Law consists in ensuring gender equality by elimination of all forms of discrimination on sex, creation to men and women of equal opportunities in political, economic, social, cultural and other spheres of public life.

Article 2. Basic concepts

2.0. In this Law the following concepts are used:

2.0.1. gender - the social party of male and female relations in political, economic, cultural and other spheres of public life;

2.0.2. gender equality - equal rights of men and women and equal opportunities in implementation of these rights and their equal social position in society;

2.0.3. equal opportunities - the equal conditions and guarantees created for men and women in enjoyment of human rights;

2.0.4. discrimination on sex - the sexual oppression, any distinction, exception or benefit limiting or denying equal enjoyment of the rights on the basis of sex;

Article 3. Non-admission of discrimination on sex

3.1. All forms of discrimination on sex are prohibited.

3.2. The following is not considered discrimination:

3.2.2. appeal of men on active military (alternative) service;

3.2.3. retirement age, established the law different for men and women;
