About cooperation in the field of youth policy

The government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan which are hereinafter referred to as with "Parties"

being guided by mutual desire to strengthen the relations and to develop traditional friendly ties between the people of two states,

expressing confidence that creation of close interrelations and cooperation in the field of youth policy promote deepening of mutual understanding between representatives of the younger generation of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan,

in view of the increasing role of youth at the present stage of development of society,

confirming the aspiration to expand and enhance the international youth cooperation based on the principles of equality and mutual respect of the rights and freedoms

reached mutual understanding as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote strengthening and development of youth bonds by means of cooperation of state bodies and other organizations, youth public associations, and also non-governmental organizations performing activities in the field of youth policy (further - the cooperating organizations).

Article 2

The parties will encourage and keep development of bonds and cooperation in the field of youth policy on the basis of the conclusion of direct contracts between the cooperating organizations of the states of the Parties by means of:

creating favorable conditions for joint operation, bonds and mutual exchanges between the cooperating organizations;

experience exchange of work in the field of youth policy;

rendering assistance on implementation of general projects and holding youth actions in the territory of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan.
