About assistance to social formation and development of youth in Ukraine
This Law determines the general beginnings of creation of organizational, social and economic, political and legal conditions of social formation and development of young citizens of Ukraine for the benefit of the personality, societies and the states, the main directions of realization of the state youth policy in Ukraine concerning social formation and development of youth.
In this Law the terms below are used in the following value:
the youth, young citizens are citizens of Ukraine aged from 14 up to 35 years;
minors are citizens aged up to 18 years;
social formation of youth - process of versatile inclusion of youth in life activity of society as systems, her perception as element of this system;
the first workplace - place of employment of young citizens after the termination of any organization of education or the termination of training in it, completion of professional training and retraining, and also after dismissal from compulsory military service or alternative (not military) service;
the youth centers of work - specialized public institutions which are created for the purpose of the solution of questions of employment of youth, ensuring its employment in non-study time, assistance to development of youth initiatives in the labor sphere, retraining and advanced training of youth;
young family - married couple in which the age of the husband and wife does not exceed 35 years, or incomplete family, in which mother (father) aged up to 35 years;
the centers of social services for family, children and youth - the special facilities rendering social services to families, the children and youth who are in difficult vital circumstances and needing assistance;
