About modification of the Order of the Government No. 1478/2002 about benefits to families with children

Based on the Law No. 315/2016 on social payments on children (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 19-23, 56), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Order of the Government No. 1478/2002 about benefits to families with children (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, Art. No. 154-157, 1612), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1) in the resolution Item 2 in paragraph three the text", for uninsured persons" and words to "insured and uninsured persons" to exclude;

2) in the Provision:

a) in Item 1 the text "To families with children persons have the right to benefits, insured/uninsured" families with children have shall be replaced with words "The right to benefits to families with children";

"4. Families with children have the right to the following types of benefits:

a) lump-sum allowance in case of the child's birth;

b) monthly allowance on child care before achievement of age by it 2 years;

c) monthly allowance on education of the child before achievement of age by it 3 years, according to options - for insured persons;

d) monthly allowance on content of twins or more children born from one pregnancy before achievement of age of 3 years by them.

4-1. Since October 1, 2022 the monthly allowance on child care before achievement of age of 2 years by it is paid including to persons (legal representatives of the child) who have the right to monthly allowance on education of the child before achievement of age by it 3 years."

d) state Items 6 and 7 in the following edition:

"6. The benefit provided to families with children is established in the amount of, acting on birth date of the child.";
