About approval of the Labor code of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Article 1. Approve the Labor code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Article 2. Recognize invalid:

1) the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 21, 1995 No. 161-I "About approval of the Labor code of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1996, appendix to No. 1);

2) the Resolution of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 21, 1995 No. 162-I "About procedure for enforcement of the Labor code of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1996, appendix to No. 1);

3) Item 2 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 27, 1996 No. 367-I "About establishment of the Teachers' Day and the mentor" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1997, No. 2, the Art. 65);

4) Item 12 of the Section I of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 1, 1998 No. 621-I "About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1998, Art. No. 5-6, 102);

5) the Section XIV of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 29, 1998 No. 681-I "About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1998, No. 9, the Art. 181);

6) the Section XII of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 25, 1998 No. 729-I "About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1999, No. 1, the Art. 20);
