About modification of the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" concerning features of appeal on compulsory military service and activities of the draft commissions during action of warlike situation

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. "About conscription and military service" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2006, No. 38, of Art. 324 with the following changes) to add the law of Ukraine with Article 18-1 of the following content:

"Article 18-1. Features of appeal on compulsory military service and activities of the draft commissions during action of warlike situation

1. During action of warlike situation the appeal on compulsory military service is not carried out.

2. During action of warlike situation the draft commissions are created for consideration of questions on:

the organizations and performing medical examination of persons who are staying on the military registry of the recruits and reached 27-year age, their statement on military accounting of persons liable for call-up or exception of military accounting;

the direction of the recruits who showed willingness to arrive in the highest military educational institutions or military educational units of higher educational institutions, for passing of testing and delivery of admission examinations or decision making about refusal in such direction".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within three months from the date of entry into force of this Law:

develop and approve the regulatory legal acts necessary for realization of provisions of this law;

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
