About some measures for enhancement of management in the field of science and education in the Azerbaijan Republic
Being guided by Item 32 of article 109 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, for the purpose of strengthening of interrelation of science and education and enhancement of management in these spheres I decide:
1. Rename the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic into the Ministry of science and education of the Azerbaijan Republic (further - the Ministry).
2. Assign to the Ministry of power, connected with implementation of state policy and regulation in the field of science, coordination and the direction of scientific activities of scientific institutions and organizations.
3. Create the following agencies under the Ministry:
3.1. The state agency on science and the higher education;
3.2. The state agency on the preschool and general education.
4. Approve the list of scientific institutions and organizations, and also other structures of National academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan placed under authority of the Ministry of science and education of the Azerbaijan Republic it (is applied).
5. To place of the national museum of history of Azerbaijan, the National museum of the Azerbaijani literature of name of Nizami Gyandzhevi and Guseyn Jaweed's House museum of National academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan together with property under authority of the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic.
6. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic:
6.1. in three-months time:
6.1.1. prepare and provide to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the project of new provision and structure of the Ministry, and also provisions of the agencies created by Items 3.1 and 3.2 of this Decree;
6.1.2. taking into account parts 1-5 of this Decree to provide to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the offers connected with enhancement of regulatory legal acts in the field of science and education;
