1.1. checking actions is the complex of the operational search and other events held by the state security agencies concerning the citizens of the Republic of Belarus who are constantly living in the Republic of Belarus (further - citizens), the citizens of the Republic of Belarus who are constantly living outside the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens, stateless persons (further - foreign citizens) in connection with provision of the admission by it to the state secrets (further - the admission), implementation of activities by them in the field of the state secrets;

1.2. during implementation of checking actions the staff of the state security agencies can conduct operational survey, targeting of references, collection is model, research of objects and documents, computer information, operational identification, observation and other actions according to the procedure, stipulated by the legislation, local legal acts of Committee for State Security and also to receive data from bases and databanks (accounting), information systems by remote access and (or) on material data carriers;
