About modification of the Regulations on activities of Council for public supervision of audit approved by the Order of the Government No. 807/2018

Based on part (1) article 36 of the Law No. 271/2017 on financial records audit (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 7-17, 48), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Regulations on activities of Council for public supervision of audit approved by the Order of the Government No. 807/2018 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 321-332, 858), to make the following changes:

The paragraph third Item 8 to state 1) in the following edition:

"The tender committee is created on the basis of the order of the director from two employees of Council, including the director, and one member of the committee delegated by Committee, except for the representative of business environment and the representative of the academic circle specialized in audit.";

Item 10 to add 2) with the subitem е) the following content:

"e) the written confirmation of support of the candidate as the member of the committee at least 10 subjects which are subject to statutory audit.";

3) in Item 35:

a) in the subitem 1) to replace figure "4" with figure "5";

b) in the subitem 2) to replace the word of "June" with the word of "July";

Figure "5" to replace 4) in the subitem 1 of Item 38 with figure "2";

Item 39 to add 5) with the paragraph of the following content:

"In case the specialist of external control of quality of audit is registered in the State register of auditors according to articles 6 and 7 of the Law No. 271/2017 on financial records audit, its activities as the auditor stop according to Item b) parts (1) article 13 of the specified law.";

3) of Item 42 figure "5" to replace 6) in the subitem with figure "2".

2. This resolution becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
