The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of provision of guarantees for activities of non-state non-profit organizations, ensuring protection of their rights and legitimate interests, supports of non-state non-profit organizations.
The legislation on guarantees of activities of non-state non-profit organizations consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about guarantees of activities of non-state non-profit organizations then are applied rules of the international treaty.
This Law is applied to non-state non-profit organizations irrespective of their form of business, including to labor unions, political parties, the religious organizations and other non-state non-profit organizations if other laws regulating procedure for their creation and activities do not provide other provisions.
The state guarantees protection of the rights and legitimate interests of non-state non-profit organizations, determines forms and conditions of their support.
Legal entities and physical persons can give financial or other support of activities of non-state non-profit organizations according to the legislation.
