"Article 12. Provisions of the Section V "Succession law" of part three of the Code are applied to the relations on inheritance in the territories of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic if the inheritance opened on September 30, 2022 and later. In case of opening of inheritance till September 30, 2022 provisions of the regulatory legal acts of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic operating till September 30, 2022 are applied to the specified relations.
The wills (including joint wills of spouses) made according to provisions of the regulatory legal acts of the Donetsk People's Republic operating till September 30, 2022 are valid regardless of the moment of opening of inheritance.
The wills made according to provisions of the regulatory legal acts of the Luhansk People's Republic operating till September 30, 2022 are valid regardless of the moment of opening of inheritance.
