About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning enhancement of allowing activities in the field of use of nuclear energy

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In part one of article 31 of the Law of Ukraine "About use of nuclear energy and radiation safety" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1995, No. 12, of Art. 81 with subsequent changes) words "legal entity or physical person" shall be replaced with words "the legal entity or the physical person - the entrepreneur".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About allowing activities in the field of use of nuclear energy" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 9, Art. 68 with subsequent changes):

1) in the paragraph the second preambles of the word "prevention of exceeding of admissible regulations of radiation of people and environmental pollution "shall be replaced with words" ensuring protection of the person and the environment from impact of ionizing radiation, respect for the principles of radiation protection";

2) in Article 1:

to add the subitem 2 after words of "The state register of sources of ionizing radiation" with the words "and individual doses of radiation";

in subitem 11 to exclude the word "renewal";

exclude subitem 13;

in subitem 17 of the word" (the company, organization or the organization of any form of managing)" to exclude;

To add 3) with Article 7-1 of the following content:

"Article 7-1. Informing on intention of implementation of activities for use of sources of ionizing radiation

The subject of managing which intends to perform activities for use of sources of ionizing radiation shall inform in writing in any form body of state regulation of nuclear and radiation safety on the intention and provide complete and reliable information about work type and type of sources of ionizing radiation.
