About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About scientific and scientific and technical activities" rather National fund of researches of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About scientific and scientific and technical activities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2016, No. 3, Art. 25; 2020, No. 50, Art. 468) following changes:

1. 8 parts one of Article 41 to state Item in the following edition:

"8) is approved by procedure for use of means of National fund of researches of Ukraine, and also procedure for competitive selection and financing of projects by National fund of researches of Ukraine which is developed by scientific council of National fund of researches of Ukraine and agrees with the supervisory board of National fund of researches of Ukraine".

2. In Article 49:

Part the second to add 1) with the paragraph the fourth the following content:

"Grant support of the applied scientific research and scientific and technical (experimental) developments which are carried out within several years is provided in the directions of development of science and technology determined by the law priority at the time of carrying out competitive selection of the corresponding projects";

2) part four in paragraph one the word "affirms" to replace with the word "affirm";

"7. The procedure for competitive selection and financing of projects by National fund of researches of Ukraine includes the directions of grant support according to part two of article 51 of this Law, and also determines procedure for carrying out joint with foreign and/or international fund, society, organization, the organization, consolidation of competitive selections of projects which will be carried out jointly by the Ukrainian and foreign legal entities, foreign (international) scientific organizations, organizations, the organizations, associations within international bilateral and/or multilateral scientific and sci-tech cooperation".
